Faith Issues

Who is God?

This is one of the questions that everyone ultimately asks him or herself. The first question we often ask is, does God exist? And then we wonder which God is real and who is this God and can you know him (or her or it?). We here at FaithStart believe in the God of the Bible and believe that the central message of the Bible is that God loves us so much that he sent his son to die on the cross for our sins (see John 3:16).

"This is what the Lord says-- Israel's King and Redeemer, the Lord Almighty: I am the first and
I am the last; apart from me there is no God.
Isaiah 44:6

    Why believe in God?

This is an excellent question -- why should anyone believe in God? And what is belief anyway? Belief is essentially faith. Having faith in God. But it is more than believing God exists or that he is powerful; it is believing in the Bible and what he said. Please take a look at the following to see what believing in God is all about:

Whoever believes in the Son has eternal life, but whoever rejects the Son will not see life, for God's wrath remains on him." John 3:36
